Join one of our resident tour guides and stonemason, Gary Simpson (Heritage Consolidation Ltd) for a fascinating insight into the works that goes into preserving a historic ancient ruin.

Discover the fascinating heritage of the people that once lived in Oban’s only scheduled monument, take a closer look at architectural features uncovered by recent works and learn more about the technical stone masonry skills being applied to this major conservation project.

This activity will be held outdoors so make sure to dress for the weather; sensible footwear is recommended. 

Please Note: The castle path is fairly steep and therefore is not easily accessible to those who experience mobility issues.
