Kettle Preserves

This new range of preserves for 2018 is inspired by fruits, vegetables and flowers found in the gardens and grounds here at Dunollie.

The Kettle Garden Café has created this delicious range using the same traditional methods of preserving which have been used in the kitchen quarters at Dunollie for centuries.

All items are hand made on site and using quality ingredients.

Preserving Through The Ages At Dunollie

Original Kilner jars and bottles which were used in days gone by and can be seen in the 1745 House Museum, and there is also a jam pan in the collection which dates back to the early 18th century.

The walled garden, vegetable patches and hedgegrows within the grounds would have supplied fresh, homegrown produce for use in pickles, jams, chutneys and jellies through the ages. This has given inspiration to the Kettle for the Dunollie Garden Range.
