Local Makers Collaboration

Are you a local artist, crafter or maker? We would love to hear from you!

We are excited to be hosting our first Local Makers Collaboration.

Do you have an idea that would fit our Drapers Shop at Dunollie? We are calling upon creative local, talented artisans to submit their inspiration and project ideas inspired by Dunollie Museum, Castle and Grounds. This could be ceramics, prints, jewellery, textiles, anything within your speciality.

The Drapers Shop is home to global shoppers and the International Clan MacDougall. We are proud to exhibit carefully curated items and aspire to develop and stock products which are inspired by the heritage held at Dunollie from the beautiful items in our collections to the surrounding natural landscapes.

Over the years we have collaborated with various talented artisans and this would be an incredible chance for local design-makers to present their projects to us and showcase their handmade crafts. Additionally, we would love to collaborate with the chosen pieces to sell on our global platform, The Drapers Shop website.

For the first round, we are looking to collaborate with a total of 5 local makers.

Closing date for applications is Sunday 28th February 2021.
