Dunollie Explorers Self Led Activity Trail - Available Mon - Sun

Attention explorer's and intrepid adventurers!

Snowball and Ben need your help to explore Dunollie's secret trails and find the hidden clues. Can you help them?

Keep your eyes peeled for games to play along the way!

Aimed at ages 4 - 11 but suitable for adventurers big and small. Pick up your explorer pack at reception.

Weaving Demonstrations - Most Mondays

Shear, card, comb, dye, spin, warp, weave.

Join our volunteer weaving group to find out more about the traditional methods of working with wool and why weaving has a unique place in Scotland's History.

A fascinating insight for all ages.

Please ask at reception for more information.

Guided Tour: Monday - Saturday 10.30 am or 2.30 pm and Sunday 12.30 pm

Join our expert guides for an immersive tour exploring the site's long and rich history from the Iron Age, to Somerled, the King of the Isles and the birth of the Clan MacDougall, throughout the Jacobite rebellions and up to the present day.

A must for locals and visitors alike.

This tour lasts approximately 40 minutes. 

Please note, the second half of this tour ventures up the castle path.

Piping At The Castle: Sundays at 2.30 pm Monday at 12.30 pm

*There will be no piping on Sunday 12th May 2019 due to our piper attending a competition. 

A local piper joins us each week to perform in the spectacular surroundings of Dunollie Castle Ruin.

An authentic and unforgettable Highland experience.

Piping lasts for approximately 30 minutes.
