Education & Learning
through Dunollie Links
Dunollie Links supports a multitude of learning opportunities for all ages. This includes workshops for primary school pupils which offer hands on opportunities for children to engage with different aspects of their local history and natural heritage. Some of our most popular workshops have focused on topics like Castles, Jacobites, Vikings, A Victorian Household, as well as, looking for insects and learning about plants.
We work hard to provide opportunities for High School Students to use our site, collections and facilities to advance their education and well-being too. Every year, we welcome students undertaking their pathway projects here at Dunollie.
We are also pleased to have worked closely with Oban High School's History Club to create our temporary exhibition Magic Medicine and the MacDougalls.
In the past, we have also provided internships and research opportunities to university students and academics. We would love to welcome anyone with a research interest in Dunollie's archives and or collections to visit and help us explore the wealth of little known material culture and primary source evidence in our care.
