Additional Information Regarding Covid-19

When arriving at Dunollie to take part in activities, please enter through the visitor car park whether you are walking, cycling or driving. There is a meeting point at the top end of the car park nearest the visitor site. Here you will be met by a member of staff to take part in your activity.

Booking is available for this activity of a social group of up to 5 people (with our tour guide bringing the number to 6 in total). Please ensure to maintain the 2m distance.

The castle tour will be delivered by our resident tour guide. Our guide will be wearing a face shield to ensure you are able hear the information on tour being delivered. This tour will be delivered in English.

The tour will move from outside the museum to the castle ruin via the castle path. Please note: the path up to the castle is steep, particularly on the descent. This activity may not be suitable for those who experience mobility issues. At this moment, there is no handrail on the castle path.

You may wander around the grounds at the end of your tour. Please ensure to stay to the one-way system on place on site. Access to the 1745 House Museum will not be available during this activity.

The castle tour will last for approximately 30 – 45 minutes, with time for any questions at the end of your tour. This will be an outdoor activity so please ensure to dress for the weather.

Dogs are welcome on this activity. We ask that your furry friends are kept on a lead for the duration of the tour and while they are onsite at Dunollie.
