The Women of Dunollie Exhibition Film

Recorded while installing the 'Women of Dunollie' exhibition in early 2020 (pre-pandemic), join Dunollie Guide - Flora MacLeod Swietlicki and Heritage Director - Catherine Gillies for a closer look into Dunollie's stunning textile collection and hear stories about the fascinating women who once wore these garments.

This temporary exhibition included the beautiful Beetle Wing Dress, which was displayed at the National Museum of Scotland as part of the Wild & Majestic exhibition in 2019.

This exhibition was created using stories from Highland Postbag written by Jean MacDougall. To purchase the book, or find out more, Click here

In December 2021, the 'Women of Dunollie' exhibition was taken off display so as to help preserve the fragile textiles involved.
